  • Ms. Sumitra Sahoo, a student of Diploma in Housekeeping Operation trade ranked All India Topper in the Annual Diploma Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2016-17.

  • Ms. Samparna Nayak, a student of Diploma Food Production trade ranked All India topper in the in the Annual Diploma Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2016-17.

  • Mr. Banti Choudhury, a student of Diploma in Food Production trade ranked 2nd in the Annual Diploma Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2016-17.

  • Mr. Akash K Pillai, a student of Craftsmanship Certificate Course in F&B Service trade ranked All India Topper in the Annual Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2017.

  • Mr. Bansidhar Seth, a student of Craftsmanship Certificate Course in F&B Service trade ranked All India Topper in the in the Annual Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2019.

  • Ms. Pradayeeni Dash, a student of Diploma Housekeeping trade ranked 2nd in the Annual Diploma Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2018-19.

  • Mr. Subhendu Kumar Dash, a student of Diploma in Front Office Operation trade ranked 5th in the Annual Diploma Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2019-20.

  • Ms. Gorli Maniratnam, a student of Craftsmanship Certificate Course in Food Production trade ranked 6th in the Annual Examination conducted by NCHMCT in 2019-20.

  • A campus interview was organised by Freshslice Pizza QSR Vancouver, Canada wherein 04 students of B.Sc. in H&HA 2021-24 Batch, got selected for overseas job placement at Canada.

  • SIHM, Balangir students concurred 1st Prize in the State Level Millet Competition organised by IHM, Bhubaneswar on 23rd March, 2023.

  • One of the Degree student namely Ms. Jayashree Kaur (B.Sc. H&HA) got 2nd position in the Final round of State Level Millet Based Cooking Competition held on the occasion of International Convention on Millets at Janta Maidan, Bhubaneswar on dt.10.11.2023.

  • Two students of B.Sc. H&HA namely Mr. Anubhav Sahu and Sk. Sahil got 1st runner-up position (Bakery & Patisserie) in the 2nd National Budding Chef Competition, organised by Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad.
